Great inventions

I took up this topic as the way we live today is because of some great inventions and inventors.I will discuss some inventions which has had significant impact on human history.Inventions are not generally done by single person but by serious of people takings work or idea of inventors before them forward.I will discuss some of the inventions that are significant in human history.

1.Plough:The invention of plough helped ancient man to change his life style.The invention of plough made humans to cultivate crops and settle at one place.This resulted in formation of communities and also changed our food habits from raw meat to vegetables,cerials,fruits etc.

2.Wheel:It changed the way we transport goods and travel.Wheel was invented more than 3000 years back.It is one of the original inventions of human beings as wheels are generally not used in nature by plants or animals for mobility.

3.Printing press:Invention of printing press 600 years back transformed this world.It resulted in easy duplication of knowledge which was earlier accessable only to the elite.

4.Bulb:It resulted in adding productive hours even at night.People could work and study at night.The infrastructure needed to have bulb in every household resulted in further development.

5. Telephone,Radio & T V:All this three things helped in long distance communication and better understanding of world around us.

6.Refrigerator:As preserving food become easier food could be transported long distance and it changed food habits of people.

7.Computer:It has just transformed way we live.Computers have made world faster and a smaller place.It has touched upon every aspect of our life.

8.Internet:It as resulted in easy flow of knowledge and information.Today we cant imagine a world without internet.

There are many other important inventions that i havnt touched upon  like automobile,aeroplane etc.
